Born and raised on a dairy farm in northern B.C., Pastor Loretta never expected to become a pastor, let alone of a church in the centre of a city. Yet Loretta thoroughly enjoys the diversity of people who live within the city’s core and is excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the work God is doing in the Alberta Avenue neighbourhood. She feels humbled and privileged to be able to walk alongside and minister to people at Avenue Church and beyond.

Pastor Loretta and her husband John are the parents of two young adults, Nicole and Evan, who enrich their lives and help them continue to grow and learn.

Pastor Aaron and his wife April are thrilled to be on the journey God has called them on as church planters. They feel so blessed to be able to call Alberta Avenue home and have felt so welcomed and loved in this diverse and exciting community, found in the heart of the City of Edmonton.

Working bi-vocationally, Pastor Aaron also performs regularly as a violinist and violist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra while April is a homeschool facilitator. They are also humbled and amazed (and sometimes exhausted) by the privilege of raising their young sons, Ethan and Elijah.
