What to Expect.

When you walk through the doors at Avenue Church you can expect to be greeted by one of our regulars. During the current pandemic, we are taking certain safety precautions, including masks, hand sanitizer, distanced seating and increased cleaning. You will still enjoy our sense of community and connection! (We can’t serve coffee at this time but please feel free to BYO coffee.) We worship together, pray, a sermon is given, as well there is time to share our thoughts at the end of the service. Avenue is a place of love and belonging and therefore all people from all walks of life are welcome.     

Sermons.

Whether it be Pastor Loretta or Pastor Aaron preaching, we like to focus on the good news of the gospel message.  The message of grace and forgiveness through the loving sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the second person of the trinitarian God.

Family Services.

The fourth Sunday of every month we host a Family Service designed specifically for children ages 3 and up and their families. This allows the children remain in community and be discipled while our normal children’s ministries are on pause during the pandemic. All are welcome but families with children are given priority.

Prayer.

Prayer is a central practice for our family at Avenue Church. Our pre-service prayer times are being re-imagined at the moment due to the pandemic. Also, office hours are being worked out where drop-in prayer with one of our pastors or community will be available.
