In the face of gross injustice and systemic racism and violence, what is the church to do? Sadly, while these issues grab today's headlines, they are nothing new. Nearly two thousand years ago, the early church faced these same issues. They're response? They prayed. Now even though these early disciples missed God's answer to their prayers entirely, there is so much we can still learn when it comes to God's justice and his invitation to pray. Our worship gathering begins at 10 AM at the Parkdale Cromdale Community League (11335 - 85 St.) Community prayer begins at 9.

Avenue Church recognizes that many people have been hurt by or have become disillusioned by the church. Many now question its relevance in our society. Avenue Church is imagining what the church could actually be like if we took Jesus at his word. As such, we are seeking to be a community to belong in and a community to serve with.
