"They Shared Everything..." Recently, we've been examining how the resurrection of Jesus impacts all areas of our lives. This had included a call to generosity and equality rooted in the gospel of Jesus (2 Corinthians 8) and the call to “love God, love people and use money” (Luke 16). This Sunday, we're going to look at how these calls were manifested in practical ways in the early church (Acts 4). We're not only going to look at the historical record but also ask, "Could God be inviting us as the family of Avenue Church to share our resources with one another in a way that would benefit our community and be a witness to the world of God’s generosity? If so, what would that look like, practically?" Please join us for what is sure to be a lively and we pray, fruitful, conversation. Our worship gathering begins at 10 AM at the Parkdale Cromdale Community League (11335-85 St.) We look forward to being together!

Avenue Church came into being in response to God’s call to love our city of Edmonton. In particular it felt called to be rooted in the Alberta Avenue district. This community is a place where our staff gladly serve. It is also a community where they are proud to call home. To learn more about the Avenue Church team, please click on the link above.
Avenue Church recognizes that many people have been hurt by or have become disillusioned by the church. Many now question its relevance in our society. Avenue Church is imagining what the church could actually be like if we took Jesus at his word. As such, we are seeking to be a community to belong in and a community to serve with.
