The Light of God: Guest Preacher Zach Froehlick

As we come out of the Easter season questions naturally arise as to how we are called to respond to the grace and majesty that has been revealed through the cross. The person and work of Jesus has definitively brought the full light of God into this world. How then are we, as God's people, to move forward with this light. How are the disciples of Jesus to behave in order to not only live in the light but to reveal it to all those around them?

As we explore 1 John 1:5-8 we can begin to understand what it means to walk in the light of God and live as an entire community of light. The apostle John writes to encourage the first followers of Jesus to continue in the light of God and this encouragement remains for the people of God today. It is an invitation to, together, grow in the light of God as the person and work of Christ continues to shape our church community.
