Waiting for the Light: Joy, Always

As we light the candle of joy this week, we are reminded of Paul's instructions to "Rejoice in the Lord, always." That sounds good at first, but then as the realities of life begin to crowd in, we wonder, "How can I choose joy always, especially with what I'm facing right now?"

The key, as we'll discover, is where, or more accurately, who we find our joy in. It's a joy that is possible in spite of circumstances but one that also never ignores the reality around us.
