Be Still and Know that I AM God: A contemplative Taizé style service.

We have been speaking for a number of weeks about what it means to ‘be church’. Pastor Aaron spoke, a few weeks ago, about church as being a people of prayer. We mostly think of prayer as us speaking to God however prayer is just as much, if not more, about listening and hearing God speak to us. Often this goes far beyond words as the Holy Spirit reaches and communicates with us even on a subconscious level. To really hear God we are encouraged to ‘Be Still’ as the psalmist says and ‘Know that I AM God.”
