The story of obtaining and holding onto power is not a new one. It is a story as old as humanity itself, in fact, the story hasn’t changed much in all that time. Whether it is a boss/political leader/party that doesn’t want to give up their power now, or a King thousands of years ago trying to hold onto his kingdom the story sounds the same. But is there a different version of that story that God is trying to teach us?
