Summer of Psalms: Creation Care - Psalm 148

Have you ever read a scripture like Psalm 148 and wondered, “how exactly does a stormy wind or a fruit tree praise God?” Well the answer is simple: they become the best stormy wind or fruit tree God created them to be. In a similar way, humans praise God when we fulfil or become who God created us to be. What’s more, as humans we have a special relationship with God. We can relate to him and talk to him. This is joy, but it also bears a responsibility. We have to help creation keep praising God. We have to ensure they can reach their full potential as trees, clouds, skies and rivers. This is part of our act of worship. When humans praise God, everything else does too
