Summer of Psalms: Joy Comes in the Morning - Psalm 30

I love the Psalms because they reflect the messiness of life, of the human experience, of my emotions. In Psalm 30 we see the goodness of God, the anger of God along with the hope and despair of the psalmist all existing side by side. Yet with such a swirl of emotion and experience, there is one underlying promise: as sure as the sun will rise, God's joy comes in the morning. In these often "cloudy" and confusing days, this is good news.
