The Grace of Repentance?

When you hear the word "repentance", what's your first thought? Is it of a preacher yelling a message of fire and brimstone, a fiery warning to turn or else? When we hear Jesus' warning to "repent or perish" in Luke 13:1-9, it's hard not to hear those words in anything other than a harsh and fiery tone. And yet, while Jesus' warning remains powerful and urgent for us today we're going to discover that it is a message full of compassion and grace, an invitation to come home and discover the fullness of life he has for us with him.
